MISSION STATEMENT
KamTeks mission is to convert newly evolved concepts of basic biological research and resulting technologies in to widely used applications and marketable biotech products. KamTek extends these innovative products and specialized state-of-the-art services to biotech communities in academia, government research labs, pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The researchers may be engaged in basic and applied research of medical, veterinary and agricultural importance.Our focus is to promote investigations in systems biology making full use of Genomics, Proteomics and Glycomics using high throughput immuno- and DNA-diagnostic assays. We provide this support in the form of specialized products and services oriented towards development of diagnostic test systems for:
- Direct detection/identification of micro-organisms, pesticides, carcinogens, biological or chemical warfare agents in clinical, environmental and food samples.
- Indirect detection of exposure to various environmental factors such as pathogenic microorganisms, pesticides, therapeutic chemicals, carcinogens, and biological or chemical warfare agents manifested as changes in developmental, metabolic, immune or signal pathways of an organism. The changes are detected in the context of genetic disease, disease progression.
- Conducting genetic, immunological, and epidemiological research for development of new drugs and vaccines.
